A Whole Month!

Has it really been a whole month already???? Time flies when you're having fun!...And when you're sleep deprived. :) But we're all loving having this little guy in our family. Look at those three beautiful babies!

I'm the luckiest mommy in the whole world. <3

Hospital Photos

Yay! I figured out how to upload these pictures! :) Sadly it was something really ridiculous that took me two seconds once I realized what I was doing wrong. But oh well! I got them now!!

When I had Payson and Jack the hospital had someone come around and take pictures of babies that they later sold if you wanted them. But the pictures were so bad. No posing, no quality, not cute. So we always did pictures later on our own.

With Lucas we got some great pictures! I wish there were more than just the four we have. But I'm glad we have these from his first 24 hours with us. Look at these!!

Okay, there is one thing. THIS FACE!!

I wish she had been able to take four million more! Because already my baby boy has changed so, so much! He's HUGE. Chubbers. We love fat babies around here, so we're not complaining. But now chubbers is crying in the background so I'll have to tell you more about our first 4 weeks with this beautiful boy later!!

Guess what I did today!!

This morning I got up and got myself ready, fed myself and three kids, go tall three kids ready, straightened up the house, fed everyone again, got us all to church ON TIME, came home and cooked and fed everyone, cleaned up again, played card games with the kids, got everyone ready for bed, and put kids to sleep. And that's just the big stuff. If I were to list every little detail, including every diaper change and feeding I'd look like a freaking super hero.

Maybe not a big deal to anyone else. But to me today was HUGE. I've been hanging out in my pajamas for the last (almost) 3 weeks. I've hardly showered. So to go from that to feel like a fully functioning human being again felt amazing!

AND...I did it all by myself. Jason is working again, so I'm on my own with these three kiddos. I really expected this week to be a hormonal nightmare, but the kids have been amazing helpers and Lucas is just such a sweet and easy boy (knock on wood!). So far we've been just fine.

Who knows how tomorrow will go. Maybe it will be the hormonal nightmare I've been waiting for. Maybe not. But as of today, I'm feeling good and loving snuggling my baby boy!! :)

UGH!!!

I don't know what's going on but I have the most beautiful pictures of Lucas that I want to share and blogger isn't letting me post them! I've been trying for DAYS! Grrrrrrr......

I finally have pictures on the computer ready to post of my sweet new baby boy!! He really is the best baby and just so pretty and I can't get enough of him. Just see for yourself:

Because he waited so long to show up, this boy has some crazy long fingernails! Which means lots of sad little scratches on his face. He won't keep cocks or mittens on his hands well or anything.

Payson LOVES holding her baby brother. Although she tends to ask at the most inconvenient times. Always right when she has to go to bed or I need to feed the baby. :) But she just loves this new baby boy in our family.

Playing with Daddy at the hospital. The kids have gotten some good daddy time in lately, which they have been craving. Jason is so wonderful and always makes special time for them. We have the best daddy in our family.
