Long story short, this didn't work out the way we expected. We're leaving tomorrow morning to drive back home. Yes, DRIVE! Not looking forward to it.

Oh my gosh! I can't wait to hear what happened. Good luck with the drive! Been there done that... it sucks! (I only had 1 kid though).

That is a long drive, but take advantage of driving across the country and take it all in. You will always remember it, think of it as a vay cay. Sorry that you have to come home before you were planning. Everything happens for a reason. Right? We will have to get together again when you get here.
