I've been crazy busy lately (which I'm actually loving) and haven't had time to finish the AWESOME post I'm working on. Hopefully Sunday. So stay tuned.
Anyway, I need you help! Every now I see someone post about blog stats and how they know a certain number of people are checking them out from certain areas and such. I'd really love to be able to do that! All I know are the little blog counters, but those also count every time I log on to my own bog to check or post or whatever and for some reason that bugged me enough to get rid of the counter.
Sooooo..............calling all blog nerds!! If you know how to get into the whole stats thing, share the love!! I wanna learn!!

Here you go :)
There are three steps involved:
1. Sign up for a Google Analytics account at www.google.com/analytics
2. You will have to do a little bit of HTML editing and copy their javascript into your blog page.
3. Click the link to test that Google Analytics can "talk" to your blog. You should then see a message that says it is receiving data.
I tried google analytics and was too dumb to figure it out. If you go to the bottom of my blog you will see what I use. If you click on it you should be sent to a page where you can sign up for your own. I also have a map from the same website on the side of my blog that puts a dot everywhere someone has looked from. I thought that was kinda fun. Hope this helps!

I use Google Analytics and Sitemeter. Both of them are great.
